I was working on it since october, but I really wanted to keep it secret...!

Last sunday I was lucky to have a photoshoot by Christa Durante, and her Boudoir
That was a really great shooting. I'm happy to meet different photographers.
They can be so differents from each others, so I learn a lot of new things every time!

Christmas is coming

And I have a few projects that I'm going to share with you very soon. But it's a surprise!

For now, I try to learn new things. In the workshop I'm doing in Geneva,
we are 5 or 6 girls in the class. It's incredible how different we are (age, occupation, origins...). And that's so interresting! some have dance background, theater background,
musical background,.... So everyone has a place there...
There's no competition beacause we all have something special to share....
Next lesson we will learn how to use fans with feathers, I can't wait!

One of these crazy things I thought I'd never do, but that I actually did...!!!

Like do a very very short performance in a bar in Geneva last saturday... But I did,
with the girls of the burlesque workshop I'm doing as a student.
I'm not a big fan of the idea of performing in a bar.
People are coming to drink on saturday nights and
I was afraid that people won't react in a good mood or even look at us.
It was complitely the opposit!
I was just feeling a little bit oppressed by the crowd, it was tricky
beacause I had to get throught it to go to the stage (we had not real stage conditions),
but at the end, that was maybe wich made this moment that much special.
That was crazy, fun and glamourous all in the same time!

Welcome

First post on this blog, wooohooo!

Well, first, Welcome on Loulou on the Rock's blog!

I have to say that I don't really know how to begin....!

I've seen a lot of burlesque performers websites or blogs, but the thing is I'm just at the beginning of this adventure. For now, I've tried a lot of differents sorts of arts, and Gods know how I respect every one of them. But the one I really felt free, and that I had the funniest moments is burlesque. Of course, I'm just at fist steps of this path...

Few stages, workshops, photoshoots, and classes; that's where I'm at for now.

I've seen a lot of shows as well. Maybe that was the most inspiring moments. For example, in Montreal in october of this year, I've seen different shows with completely different visions of burlesque: Very glamourous, to very funny and approachable... Every time sexy enough to attract men but smart enough to be pleasant for women as well. Fascinating...
